Min Tien & Co. Sdn Bhd was incorporated in 1955 by Kuok Brothers Sdn. Bhd. and Hoe Seng Co. Pte Ltd, a leading rice miller and exporter in Bangkok, Thailand. Our Chinese name is interestingly our core business. "Min Yi Shi Wei Tien" which translated means "food is essential for survival of mankind".

Accordingly we build our reputation on providing the best food products at competitive prices. We also import and supply essential components of animal feed and we are endeavouring to develop the market for Thai Yellow Maize.

Min Tien & Co. Sdn. Bhd. is a branch of the Kuok Group and draws on the strength of the Group. We maintain a warehouse larger than 40,000 square feet in Jalan Bakti/Petaling in Larkin Industrial Estate and is centrally situated. At all time our warehouse is well stocked with rice, flour and sugar to ensure there is no interruption in supply.

As rice is one of the control items, we envisage that in the foreseeable future the rice import and distribution will be returned to the private sector. When this happens, Min Tien & Co. Sdn. Bhd. will resume its previous position of being one of the leading importers of rice from Thailand, Myanmar and China and possibly soy beans importers and other agricultural produce from Vietnam and Cambodia.
